About the Artist

Young-Ly Hong Chandra is a visual artist, working primarily with paper, fabric and found objects, making small collage to big installations. Her art making begins with paying attention to what is being made through nature, her surroundings and more over, the greatest maker, Ex Nihilo.

She earned her BFA in Fine Arts and BA in Arts Education from Korea University, Seoul. She has facilitated and led art related groups and events in various contexts in several different countries over the last decades.

She envisions healing, renewal and nurturing of individuals and culture through the making and sharing of art.
